Inter managed to agree on a lease for Lukaku for 10 million euros

The loud and very expensive return of the Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku to London's Chelsea from Inter Milan during last year's offseason finally gave the "blues" not very strong reinforcement.

The 29-year-old has scored 15 goals and given two assists in 44 games, which is not on the same level as his previous performances as a "snake".

In the end, the relative uncertainty of his position at the club led to rumors of a possible transfer of Lukaku back to Inter on a lease.

A little later, the clubs still began some negotiations, but the initial demands of Chelsea were so significant that in fact discouraged the Milan club's desire to fight for the player.

Despite this, the Nerazzurri did not give up in their efforts to get a status performer, and in the end, according to Italian journalist Niccolo Skira, knocked down the whims of "retirees" to 10 million euros, which is twice less than Chelsea initially wanted.

The final round of talks between the parties should be expected in the coming days.
